Cloe Chunn shows pictures of paddling the Penobscot River and about seeing firsthand the meanings of Wabanaki names along the way, and also about creating the Penobscot River Paddling Trail.A former high school and college teacher, Cloe is a naturalist, outdoor writer, and Maine Guide. She is cofounder of the Maine Master Naturalist Program.
Her book, ‘Fifty Hikes in the Maine Mountains’ (W.W.Norton), has been a standard hiking guide for over 40 years. Exploring wild places, sharing them with others, and feeling her connection to Mother Earth, are what motivate Cloe.

Green School Concept is Reality in Bali
On July 18, 2019, BBWC hosted Kyle King who shared the story of how they conceived, designed, and built an international school in Bali, where Kyle has been teaching and living with his family for 6 years. Kyle is principal of the Green School and he also directs the BioBus entrepreneurial program, an example of the solution-based learning which engages students at The Green School.

Salmon-in-Schools
