Hello PBS ALUM!
Hopefully you are all well. Here is an opportunity to get involved. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Invitation to Pen Bay Stewards
The BBWC Program Committee is in need of additional members to help with our monthly educational programs. This is also a chance to meet other PBS Alumni.
Each year, there are eight monthly programs between September and May, skipping December. During the pandemic, the programs are being offered on Zoom in partnership with the Belfast Library. In normal times the programs are held in the Abbott Room at the Belfast Library.
In the past, programs have covered topics about nature, geology, wildlife ecology, forestry, invasive species, conservation efforts, local watershed history, and geography. Other topics can be considered.
The Program Committee currently has speakers lined up through May of this year.
If you, or someone you know, would be interested in helping BBWC with our
educational programs, please contact Pat Gladding: Patricia.gladding@gmail.com
