Earth Skills with Jason Chandler and Caitlin Thurrell

Join Jason Chandler, a Maine Master Naturalist, guide, and teacher, and Caitlin Thurrell, farmer and educator, for an outdoor skills workshop on Tuesday, April 18 from 10 am – 2 pm.

Learn from Jason how to make a fire with a bow drill, and which natural materials to use for drill and tinder.

The month of April, a season of emergent early spring edibles and medicinals, makes this a good time for Caitlin to share plant knowledge and plant medicine.

Bring water, lunch, sharp knife, backpack, tick repellent. All ages welcome.

Meet at 10 am at the home of David Thanhauser and Cloe Chunn, 210 Oak Hill Road, Swanville.

Questions? Contact Cloe Chunn at 338-1147 or cloechunn@gmail.com.
